How our wedding lodging program works

How our wedding lodging program works for Birkby House coordinators: four restored homes about a 7-minute walk from Birkby, a discount for every wedding guest, and a thank-you when a wedding party books two or more of our homes.

What guests get: 5% off any of our four homes with code BIRKBY, whether they book one home or all four.

Wedding parties booking two or more homes: we hold the homes for 45 days while they collect their headcount, and guarantee 1 PM check-in at every home they book so the party can get ready on time.

What you get: $100 for each home booked once the wedding party books two or more of our homes, paid monthly.

How it works

  1. Register the wedding. Open the private registration link we sent you and enter the couple’s names, the wedding date and roughly how many guests will need beds. It takes about a minute.
  2. Share the guest link. You’ll get a guest link for that wedding right away, on screen and by email, along with a short note the couple can paste into their wedding website or send to guests.
  3. Guests book. The link opens our Birkby page with a welcome for that wedding. Guests book online with code BIRKBY for 5% off, or ask us to hold two or more homes for the wedding party, with a guaranteed 1 PM check-in at every home they book.
  4. You get paid. We match bookings to the weddings you’ve registered. Once a wedding’s guests have booked two or more of our homes, we pay $100 for each home booked, every month.

When a guest opens the link for a wedding, the top of our Birkby page greets them like this:

Welcome, guests of the Emma Smith & Jake Jones wedding on Saturday, May 15, 2027. You’re in the right place.

And here’s the kind of note you’ll receive to pass along to the couple:

Booking two or more homes for your group? Use the same page to ask for a 45-day hold, and all of your homes will be ready for a 1 PM check-in.

Good to know

  • Only weddings registered through your link qualify for the referral fee, so please register each wedding before guests start booking.
  • The fee is $100 per home, paid once the wedding’s guests have booked two or more of our homes in total. They can be booked by different guests. If only one home is booked for a wedding, no fee is paid. Cancelled bookings don’t count.
  • We’ll need a W-9 before the first payment.
  • If Birkby House would rather receive the fee directly instead of individual coordinators, we’re happy to set it up that way.
